You Know You’re a Mom When-sDaze: 6.2.10

I have assembled another few examples of sure signs of Motherhood.  And I encourage all of you moms to join in!

You know you’re a mom when…you need to come up with an appropriate answer to give your preschooler when she asks “Mommy, how do cows give us their beef?”

You know you’re a mom when…you drop both your kids off at summer camp for the very first time, and scratch your head as you head back to your car because you have no idea what to do with yourself for the next 4 hours.

You know you’re a mom when…you start wearing tankinis and one-pieces in lieu of bikinis.

You know you’re a mom when…you feel a tremendous amount of joy and pride wash over you because you are wearing an Arkansas Razorbacks t-shirt, and your 4 year old reads the word, “Hogs”, which is plastered across your chest (Go Kate!).

And the last “You Know You’re A Mom When..” really isn’t a sign of motherhood so much as it is an ode to Jeff Foxworthy.

You know you’re raising a redneck when…

That’s a wicked cute meme. I’ll have to think if I have anything good to share on that one.

Awesome! At least she isn’t sitting on top of the table. That’s the preferred seating arrangement at my house! And the reading of the T-shirt is just classic!

Love how you and LL were on the same page today with the swim suits ;)

Addyson is forever trying to put her feet on the table. Andy always says “Get your feet down, were not in a bar!” Hmmm. Interesting. I haven’t really ever seen too many people in the habit of propping their feet up on the bar.

I saw a picture of a tankinis in BF, but I can’t seem to find them in stores. I’ve only reallly looked in Khol’s and JC Penny’s but can’t find them. Do you buy your online? Where ever you find them will you share? I think they are so cute. I’m a bikini girl, not quite ready to set into a one piece, so a tankini seems to be a good meeting place.

I am shocked to see her feet on the table. Where are your Southern manners little one??!! ha ha

I guess we’re raising rednecks, too!!

I hear ya on the tankini…you know it’s bad when you don’t even want to wear a bikini at your own pool in your own yard!! Of course, I’m really working on modesty now that I have boys who are at that inquisitive age. You know…the ole’ bum crack on the chest is quite intriguing at this moment in time.

Of course, they never grow out of that, do they!! ;)
