Cinderella Pumpkin Bliss

Craig scoured the Internet in search of proper pumpkin stencils, and when presented with the choice of Cinderella, Kai Lan, Tinkerbell and Minnie Mouse, the girls opted for Cinderella for our 2010 Halloween Jack-o-Lantern.

Our making of a carved pumpkin princess…

But the yummiest part of our Cinderella Princess Pumpkin?  Why these, of course!  Salt, garlic powder, a little olive oil and 25 minutes spent in a 325 degree oven produced this crunchy autumn bliss!

Mmmmmmm...

Your hubby has some serious talent! That’s awesome. See, if I had tried that, Cinderella would look more like Cinderfella and my fingers would be reduced to bloody stumps. So as you can imagine, we did NOT buy a pumpkin this year.

Is there nothing your man can’t do?!? It looks really good. We opted for a regular scary face on ours, anything more complicated just goes wrong!

That looks wonderful! I’m so glad it’s not sitting on a porch near us, because Abbey would want it badly! I was terrible and didn’t carve pumpkins this year; I let A paint them (several times) and am calling it a day.

    now that is beyond cool.

I remember toasting pumpkin seeds when I was a kid (well, okay, my folks toasted them) and they sure were yummy!

Really great job on the pumpkin!

Wow, that pumpkin is amazing. I haven’t done a carved pumpkin in years (maybe next year), but I never had anything that turned out like that!

    Stopping by from SITS.

HA – we just carved our pumpkins too! (although I bet you actually carved yours a while ago) We are sooo last minute. And so much less professional – that Cinderella rocks! But pumpkin seeds rock even more. Yum. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Not sure how I missed this, but that is the best pumpkin EVER! I big puffy heart Cinderella. And seriously, I wish that Disney would quit putting all the other princesses on my Cinderelli stuff!
