Word Up, YO!, Edition 22

So, did you double down this last week and create a kaching! Word Up, YO! post as well as recruit some new blood to gamble with you? Did your post leave us yelling “Winner, winner, chicken dinner“? Well, let’s see…

Remember that this past week, if you recruited somebody to participate in Word Up, YO!, you would automatically get a promotion. Well, Nikki at Mommy Oblongata did just that! But since Nikki is already a Made Man, she is getting promoted to a Capo. Congratulations Nikki!

D at Unpolished Parenting had a winner of a story for our Vegas challenge. Actually, it was a story about her losing money while gambling, but we still liked her style.

Congratulations, D ! In the eyes of the Nerd Mafia, you are now a Made Man.

Please contact one of the Dons for your button code.

Good luck to all! And maybe next week, you’ll be “made”, too!

Since we like the idea of recruiting so much, we are going to continue with our recruitment challenge. This week, you’ve got another two shots at getting promoted…

The first, a recruitment challenge. No Mafia can thrive without fresh blood. So, if you recruit one person to join Word Up, Yo! you get a promotion. If you recruit two or more people to participate, you are instantly Made. (Those who are already Made will get a generous bump to Capo.)

To have a post count in the recruitment challenge it must:

1. Use one of this week’s words.
2. Link up to Word Up, Yo!
3. Mention the name and/or blog of the person who recruited them.

Good luck everyone! Hopeful this week will contain lots of big winners!

Please follow the link for the rules of Word Up, YO!

The second way to get made: use this week’s WOW!

Thanks for not killing my blogsbian.

She and I had an unfortunate miscommunication, words were exchanged, threats were made and all the woodland creatures fled to their burrows.

Fortunately, all is well and I no longer have to pee.
