Sweet & Sassy Party

Sweet and Sassy is THE  salon and spa mecca for the girly girls of the world.  Kate was invited to a princess dress up birthday party there on Saturday afternoon, and had an absolute blast.

Each girl started out with a mini-interview that included questions like her favorite color and her favorite princess.  Then they received their own Sweet and Sassy tattoo, complete with glitter spray.

Next, they lined up and waltzed like a princess would, all the way back to the dressing room.  Kate emerged in a Cinderella dress, and headed for her up ‘do.

After having curls rolled into her hair, she got a good dose of glitter spray and her choice of fruity hair spray, too.

She chose to smell like a strawberry.

After her hairdo was completed, it was off for nails and makeup!

She’s almost ready for her princess debut!

After all the girls were princess-ified, they each turn their turn on the runway, where they received a wand, tiara and princess certificate.

Here is Kate after having her chance in the spotlight.

So sweet! We have similar venues in Los Angeles and Caroline had her 5th birthday party at one. They should offer these for grown-ups, too!!

So. So. Sweet. That smile when she was “almost ready for her debut”?
    Precious.
It makes me want to put freeze my daughter so she never grows up.
But she’s already 11. And I’d miss her.
Enjoy these moments with your princess.

That last photo is just precious. I used to LOVE getting my makeup done for ballet recitals as a kid – and wearing the big fluffy skirts. Girly-girl all the way, baby.

Ugh. Why didn’t I have a daughter? #3 would probably go for it, but no way would Dumb Dad agree to hosting a sweet and sassy party for my Dude:)

This looks like so much fun, Liz! I saw a party similar to this on one of the episodes of the Real Housewives (yes, I watch)! This definitely looks like something every little girl would love! Great pictures too!
