I realize I’m rather late to the “Bloggy Goals for the New Year” party, but the first 6 weeks of the 2011 turned out to be pretty busy for me.
Along with some amazing guest post opportunities at Scary Mommy and Theta Mom’s TMC Network, my SITS day, my first blog conference and my highly-tweetable How Twitter is Like First Base post, I’ve also been doing some work behind the scenes of my blog.
Some pages were removed, others were revised, and a few new ones are soon to come.
I changed a few plugins and have a bit of a redesign in the works with Sharon from Good, True and Beautiful.
On a related note, I also decided that I needed to organize my blog reading, so I transferred all my email subscriptions to my RSS reader.
I feel that I have a fresh focus for my blog and a few goals for the future. I’m excited to collaborate with other bloggers through guest post opportunities as well as a couple possible features. And I may or may not have a very special, soon-to-be-announced, #ALLCAPSAWESOME project in the works with another very talented, seasoned blogger.
But more on this hypothetical project later.
Right now, I’m excited for my upcoming blogoversary, and the year ahead.
Consider this the official beginnings to BBCD, Version 2.0.
