Anyone who has stopped by here in the past few weeks knows I’m a sucker for smokin’ hot reminiscent photo linkups. Shell is hosting a pregnant belly picture linkup called Rockin’ the Bump. While not smokin’ hot (‘cuz, really, did any of us feel that way when we got so big we look like we swallowed a watermelon?), I went ahead and posted a couple photos from my pregnancy with Kate and a couple with Madelyn. In the photo above, we were heading out to celebrate an early anniversary dinner. When we arrived at the restaurant, the waitress took one look at me and said, “You are not allowed to have that baby in this restaurant. PLEASE wait until you leave the building.”

You’re so cute! Carrying a watermelon, for sure, but so, so very cute! XO
You really need to have more babies. I think you rock the just-swallowed-a-watermelon look like nobody’s business.
That waitress cracks me up! I hope she got you guys a quick seat.
Adorable pictures. I am so enjoying these bump photos of everyone.
I’m curious as to what kind if tip that waitress got for such a crack.
Wow, you look great!!!That last comment from the waitress made me laugh. People should check themselves before they say what they are thinking to a pregnant woman. I started getting the “oh my gosh, when are you due?” question when I was around five months pregnant with the twins. I got to where I would just say, yes I am huge, yes there are two in there, no they aren’t due for a few more months.
I LOVE that the waitress told you to leave before you had the baby! How awesome!
Your belly is beautiful!
All you adorable girls rocking your bumps! Ack, you are so stinkin’ cute!
Yep! You really were all out front (I was too)…It’s amazing how far our bellies can stretch, isn’t it?
You look amazing in all of these! I can’t believe someone said that to you- WOW
Oh my gosh, you were one of those cute people who literally looked like they swallowed a melon! I bet you lost your weight so fast. Adorable!
Honestly, I did. Like, freakishly fast. Though I had miserable pregnancies where I puked daily (or multiple times a day) for the whole 9 months. So I guess losing the weight was to make up for that?
you look great! love seeing all the rockin’ the bump pics!
You were all “out in front”, weren’t you. Did you get the “boy?” question a lot?
You looked great!! All baby!
I do have to say that it looks slightly uncomfortable though!
You look adorable. I do have to say that you had one huge baby bump with Maddie! Holy Cow!
I am not just saying this. You are (were) THE cutest pregnant person ever. It doesn’t matter how many babies I’ve had, I’m ALWAYS amazed that anyone can hold themselves up with that big belly. Isn’t it simply amazing? thanks for stopping by my blog today too! We also didn’t have a name for #3 for a few days. My husband still isn’t crazy about what we chose and now he thinks he gets to pick #4. Ugh.
We talked a lot after Madelyn Rose was around for a while if that name really suited her.
Nurses and the peds would come in to do their checks, and as the shifts changed, we always got the, “So, I don’t see a name here on her file.”
Yes, I totally looked like I might fall over, don’t I?
Isn’t it just a hoot when strangers comment on how close to delivery you appear to be?
Those 37 week photos are insane! You are still so thin and fit! You definitely look like you’ve swallowed a watermelon.
Does this comment fall into the strangers commenting on how pregnant you are category?
girl you carry those babies ALL in front! so cute!
Wow you were all belly! So cute!
Oh my goodness! Yay for bellies
And the babies in em.
Hilarious, ok not really. I had my son at 36 weeks and just looked fat. I never had that pregnant look.
You didn’t tip that waitress did you? I hope not. ;P
Yep, all in the front. WOW.
So cute!
Fabulous preggy pictures!! You carried well.
And sigh, I can’t believe that waitress said that to you! Good grief.
Oh come one. You couldn’t have had ONE bad pick to share???
You are annoyingly adorable pregnant, these pictures are great!!
You totally rocked the bump. I might have said the same thing if I was your waitress too.
I felt the peer pressure and linked up mine today! Loving all of these!
I think you looked cute.
Liz,
You may be the cutest dang pregnant woman I’ve ever seen. I’m so jealous! And we had our anniversary dinner about a week before our girls arrived—same thing! I had all these contractions during dinner, we almost thought we’d have to go to L & D, but the girls waited another 8 days, fortunately!
