Because Everybody Wears Underwear

As each day ticks by, I’m getting closer to thinking Maddie may just be potty trained soon. And then – finally – our home will be all undies, all the time!

While the excitement of Maddie’s big girl underwear has been leading the way, both Craig and I have been lucky to the have opportunity to sample some of the Jockey® staycool collection products over the past few weeks.

Craig and I both received tops and bottoms to sample. I got to try the Jockey® staycool Bikini and Modern Brief along with 2 reversible tops – the t-shirt and the tank. While I found both the bikinis and briefs to be soft and breathable, with a comfortable waistband, neither of those cuts are my preferred style (I like boy cut bottoms best).

I was pretty surprised by the tops. Both the t-shirt and the tank are reversible, meaning one side is a v-neck and the other, a crew neck. But when I first opened the package, I looked at them thinking, “Are these only good for workouts, or would these work for regular, everyday clothing?”

It turned out that – when I put them on with skirts or shorts – they looked totally appropriate as everyday clothes! I really like how the tops are fitted but not tight. A lot of tops that I have that are more form-fitting tend to make me feel warmer, and I specifically avoid wearing those when we’re in our peak of the hot & humid season here in Memphis.

Craig has been a long-time Jockey® customer, though hadn’t previously tried any products from the staycool collection. When I asked him about his experience wearing the Boxer Brief, Midway Brief, V-Neck T-Shirt and Crew T-Shirt, he told me that when he heard that the staycool products can make you feel up to 3 degrees cooler, he assumed the t-shirts and briefs would simply be a thinner fabric. So, he was surprised when he felt them and put them on because they are the same weight as what he usually wears.

Craig also said that he found the staycool t-shirts to be a more athletic, tailored fit, which he prefers.
