…is required to be at the surgery center.
Adenoids are coming out.
Tubes are going in.
Everyone tells me she’ll be playing again by the afternoon.
And to expect it to be rough when she first wakes after surgery.

Best of luck. I’m sure she’ll do great. Buster was just under sedation a couple weeks ago and he woke up perfectly fine and was just sleepy. I hope the same goes for her!

My little Ashley had the same procedure. I was prepared with icy pops and special sorbet for her when she got home and felt hungry. Instead she asked for a waffle. And at it all. And played hard, too. Resilient little things!

Yay!! I’m all for showing those unhelpful body parts who’s boss. And I already know from the many ways I stalk you that she came through great, so there’s only joy at those stupid adenoids learning their place.
My friend’s son recently had his adenoids removed and my friend cried harder than her little baby did. I am sending ((((swift healing vibes)))) to your sweet pea and to your entire family. XOXO and definitely keep us posted, hunny!!! Am thinking of you today.

So it’s now almost 1:30, PST. And I’ve seen some updates so I know everything went well.
But let me just say you will be SO thrilled with your decision to have this surgery.
After we did tubes (for Karly) and had Jack’s tonsils/adnoids removed, all we could think was this:
Why didn’t we do it sooner?
(Well, because who wants to do surgery that’s not absolutely necessary, that’s why. But. Now that it became necessary and you’re done? Oh hooray!)
It will be good. I promise.
