I remember so many of the silly songs I learned as a kid, and in fact, many of those songs Kate has been taught at one time or another. I don’t remember ever hearing any Presidents Day songs, though.
Until now.
This post is part of #iPPP (iPhone Photo Phun), where we link up photos taken from our smart phones. Any smart phone.

She was seriously made for the stage/camera!
She SO was. Who knows what she’ll want to try as she gets older.
There is so much to remember in that song!
Adorable! Never heard of such a song, either.
It would have helped me to remember stuff if I had.
Too cute! I still use the silly songs when I need to remember things, e.g., Fifty nifty United States from 13 original colonies…and I’m just a bill, yes I’m only a bill, and I’m sitting here on capitol hill
And I never learned either of the songs you mentioned. ;-(
Perhaps that’s part of the reason I loathed social studies so much.
She’s all sorts of cute!
Awesomesauce!!!!
Amazingly cute! Now I feel like my girls aren’t being properly educated since they didn’t learn a Presidents Day song.
Hurrah for President’s Day! SO cute. She looks JUST like you.
Thanks, Greta! Hope you are having fun at Blissdom!
I don’t think I ever learned a President’s Day song either. I did sing a lot of patriotic songs, but never anything about good ol’ Washington and Lincoln.
Fun idea about doing a video for iPPP!
Yep! Still with my iPhone, so it works.
Too cute.
We had family day in Canada. It’s pretty much a useless holiday since everyone still has to work. Plus there are no cool songs on that day.
Kate 4 President!
(Too soon?)
She’d be the shortest one ever to take office.
Well, I guess if a holiday can be made out of it, a song can be made out of it, too. Next up, Arbor day songs!
Arbor Day.
Snort.
I think I would have learned a lot more in school if it had all been set to music!
Now I’ll be humming that little ditty the rest of the day!
AB-SO-LUTELY!
And she’ll probably never forget their birthdays because of this.
She’s awesome. And that is a great way to remember, music always helps us learn!!
Yes! I wish they put everything to music when we were little. Would have made remembering stuff a whole lot easier.
Your daughter has a new admirer…. I watched this with my son and he was totally enamored with her. He kept pointing at her smiling and said more when it was done.
I recently heard that song myself…and thought “where was this song for my American History classes??”
She is adorable and so good in front of the camera…Bravo!
Seriously! They have all sorts of little ditties now to help them remember stuff! We needed these memory tricks when we were in school!
Ohmygoodness! A-dor-a-ble!
I didn’t know there was a President’s Day song.
But she sure was cute singing it.
This is totes adorable.
She is just the cutest thing!
I’m guessing I’d probably be a lot smarter if I’d learned this song when I was in school. At least about our nation’s presidents.
Okay I was so hoping she didn’t know the whole presidents song like my husband does because then Sophia would be SO far behind.
I love this little song and seeing how much she learns about holidays. She is just awesome…and so are you mama!
I don’t know the presidents song and I really don’t want to use my remaining brain cells to memorize it. That’s why we have Google, right?
I learned something new from that song! How terrible is it that I never knew which presidents birthday’s were associated with “President’s Day” Oops! Oh..and the twins totally dug the video too.
They were very attentive throughout the whole song.
That is AMAZING. I’m pretty sure I need to memorize that and start singing it at parties.
(Which, I’m confident, will only make me more of a party must-have.)
I bet you give a good “hoo-rah!”
Very cool song. That reminds me of School House Rock.
I haven’t been able to get it out of my head. I need her to come home singing some other kind of song to remove “Hoo-rah for presidents great!” from the loop in my mind.
You really need to continue to procreate. Such adorable children!!
Um, no. Are you crazy? I think so, as I needed to read this twice to be sure I read it correctly.
So cute.
My Kindergartner was all about looking for YouTube videos of Abe Lincoln. She really couldn’t understand why he didn’t have any.
Oh no! That’s a hard one to explain.
Well, someone at my school really messed up. Because they didn’t teach us that song when I was in grade school!
How utterly adorable is she? And, what struck me about her “performance” was that she was in tune and totally “on point”, not missing a beat. I think you’ve got a little show biz stuff going on there in your family.
Bravo for her! She did a wonderful job.
I don’t even know her and I’m proud of her. She’s a star!
I cannot get over how cute she is!
Too bad I don’t have sound on my computer but she looks absolutely adorable singing!
Another AFV, right there.
