What was Maddie thinking?

I was left scratching my head when I found this set-up underneath our kitchen counter.

I’m not sure if she thought she was decorating with the animals?

Or were they in some sort of “time out” punishment?

Either way, I’d love to play a round of “What was she thinking?”

Leave me a comment with your thoughts on what was going through Maddie’s mind when she concocted this scene. $5 Starbucks gift card to the most amusing thought.

Surely you’ve heard of cliff dwellers!? Or maybe the hanging gardens? That girl is WAY ahead of the curve… with that creativity and intuitive insight into cultural architecture she’s going places!

Can you believe I’ve never seen Avatar? I’ve actually not seen many movies. I’m lame in that way.

Oh, I thought maybe they took a swim in the toilet and were hanging out to dry. That would be reality in my house.

Ha! This reminds me…my brother used to drop his baby cat in the toilet when he was little!

I think you’ve got the stuffed animal frat house going on! Keg stands all around.

(Abbey likes to tie things to our cabinets. She tells me they’re “Ornaments. Since we took down our stockings it’s the only way Santa will be able to find us.”)

An invisible stuffed monkey told this group of stuffed animals that he was the best kind of animal because he knew how to have the most fun. The monkey said he climbs trees and swings from branches all day and that it’s so much fun. So these animals gave it a try.

Simple. Each of those stuffed animals prefer a different kind of food (e.g. the dolphin likes fish . . . and everyone knows that stuffed dogs adore brussels sprouts). Maddie can, simply, feed any unwanted dinner to her team of friends. You, being proud & surprised of the clean plate, will have no choice but to give her extra dessert.

I actually used to do something similar, but I actually would bring all my stuffed animals to the space underneath the sink and I’d talk and play with my dolls for hours. And then one day my mom discovered I was doing this and I was so embarrassed, I never did it again.

Wow. I can’t believe I just shared that here. LOL!! ANYWAAAAAY… yea, like… I think that’s her new story telling place :)
